        In terms of instructions contained in Para 17.6.1 of the DOP&T’s O.M.No.22011/5/86-Estt.(D) dated 10.04.1989, as amended by O.M.No.22011/5/1991-Estt (D) dated 27.03.1997, Shri Vasu P (GEN/GEN, Emp. Code : 4650), Inspector of Central Excise, Coimbatore Commissionerate is promoted notionally to the grade of Superintendent of Central Excise purely on adhoc basis with effect from 15.10.2007 i.e. the date on which his immediate junior Viz. Shri Dinesh Kumar K.R. ( GEN /GEN, Emp. Code : 3358) assumed the charge as Superintendent of Central Excise.  He is posted to Coimbatore Central Excise Zone. 

02.         The seniority placement in the grade of Superintendent in respect of Shri Vasu P will be fixed below Shri Selvaraj S  ( GEN / GEN, Emp. Code : 2752) and above Shri Dinesh Kumar K R ( GEN / GEN, Emp. Code : 3358). 

03.         The promotion now ordered is subject to the decision of Central Administrative Tribunal and other appropriate forums in pending cases, if any. 

04.         This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority, Cadre Control, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
