        The Public Grievance Redressal Committee Meeting for the Block Year 2002 and 2003 for the quarter ending 30.06.2002 was held at 11.30 Hrs. on 01.07.2002 at the Conference Hall of this Commissionerate under the Chairmanship of Shri.M.V.S. Prasad, Commissioner of Central Excise.

At the outset, the Chairman welcomed all the Members present.

 

The Chairman informed that though the department had not received any specific point or grievance from the Members for discussion, they are free to bring to the notice of the meeting, grievance, in any, they had with regard to Central Excise.

 

It was informed by the Members that they had no grievance to bring to the notice of the Department for redressal.

 

For future meetings, Chairman requested the Members to forward the points, they wish to sponsor for discussion during the meeting, well in advance so as to enable the department to analyse the same effectively and to provide the members a comprehensive reply during the meeting. The Chairman also requested the Members to furnish their e-mail address so that the department can send them letters, minutes of meetings, etc. through e-mail.

 

The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the Chair.
