In exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Agriculture Produce Cess Act,
1940 (27 of 1940) hereinafter referred to as the said Act, the
Central Government hereby fixes for the purpose of levying the
customs duty, the tariff value specified in column 4 of the Schedule
annexed hereto as the tariff value of the articles specified in the
corresponding entry in column 2 of the said Schedule (being articles
included in the Schedule to the said Act) in respect of the unit
specified in column 3 of the said Schedule.
This Notification shall come into force on and
from the 1st day of July, 2001 to the 30th day
of June, 2002.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th June, 2001
S.O. 597(E)-- In exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Agriculture Produce Cess Act,
1940 (27 of 1940) and sub -section (1) of section 3 of the Produce
Cess Act, 1966 (15 of 1966), the Central Government hereby fixes,
for the purpose of collection of cess, the tariff value in respect
of Cashew Kernal at rupees three thousands only per quintal for the
period commencing on and from the 1st day of July, 2001
to 30th day of June, 2002.
