new levy called " National Calamity Contingent Duty" has been
imposed on certain tobacco products. Pending opening of New Heads of
Accounts which is likely to take time, the Principle Chief Controller of
Accounts has suggested that the new levy being deposited by assessee may be
accounted present under the Sub head/ Minor Head of Accounts " Receipt
Awaiting Transfer to the other minor head etc." under Major Head 037 -
Customs/0038-U.E.D. The relevant reduced Accounting code Numbers are
00370034-Customs and 00380086(U.E.D). The amount kept under RAT could be
transferred to the New Head of Accounts as and when opened C.G.A's office.
