                    Copy of Notification No. 65/2001 Central Excise (N.T) dated 17-10-2001 issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, New Delhi wherein the format in which requisition for obtaining of Registration Certificate has been prescribed is communicated herewith for information and necessary action.

                    Separate forms for separate registration is required to be made. Further under Sl.No. 3 of the form, it should be specifically indicated whether the applicant is a manufacturer/warehouse / manufacturer's Depot or a dealer, as this is the core information required for allotment of PAN based Excise Registration number.

                The contents of the Trade Notice may be brought to the notice of all concerned.
