Sub:-    Central Excise -  Revamping of Chennai III Commissionerate Bifurcation of Tambaram Division into            

          Tambaram I and Tambaram II  with effect from 1.4.08  - Regarding.

The Trade is hereby informed that consequent to the revamping of Divisions of Chennai City Central Excise Commissionerates and for better trade facilitation   the existing Tambaram Division of Chennai III Commissionerate is bifurcated into Tambaram I  and Tambaram II Divisions

 

2.      The geographical jurisdiction of the new Tambaram I & II Divisions are furnished in the Annexure enclosed alongwith the location code assigned to  the Divisions and the Ranges concerned.

 

3.      The new Divisions will function with effect from 1.4.08

 

4.      Offices of the new Divisions  and Ranges will continue to function at the existing addresses.           

 

5.      Contents of this Trade Notice may please be brought to the notice of all concerned.
