Subject:- C. Ex. - Declaration of stock as on 31.03.2003 by Textile units - Reg.

Kind attention is drawn to Trade Notice No. 49/2003 dated 03.04.2003 regarding changes related to some of the budget proposals.

 

2. At para (3) c of the said Trade Notice it has been stated that

 

" It has been provided that the credit of duty in respect of inputs as well as inputs contained in finished goods lying in stock on 31.3.2003 will be allowed if the declaration is made on or before 7^th April, 2003.The rates at which the credit would be allowed will be separately notified shortly.

3. It has now been decided to extend the date for filing such declaration to the 15^th of April, 2003.

 

4. Copy of the TRU's Fax in F.No. B3/3/2003-TRU is reproduced below.

 

          The contents of the Trade Notice may be brought to the notice of all concerned.
