                   The Trade is hereby informed that consequent on the formation of Chennai-IV Commissionerate, revised  location code numbers have been allotted to the Divisions and Ranges of Chennai IV Commissionerate as given below:

                  All Central Excise assessees, whether Manufacturer/warehouse/Dealer etc., should henceforth quote the Location Code Number in all Central Excise documents such as invoices, Challans, Returns etc.
